How Do I Audit a Course?
Students who have been admitted to the college may choose to enroll in a course as an auditor. Audited courses allow students to attend class without earning academic credit.
Note: Courses in selective admissions programs generally cannot be audited unless the student has been admitted to the program and space is available.
Important Audit Policies
- You must be admitted to the college and officially registered for the course before auditing.
- Audited courses may be taken for credit at a later date.
- Audited courses are not eligible for financial aid.
- Audited courses do not count toward GPA calculations.
Changing Course Status
Audit to Credit
With limited exceptions, students who are fully admitted to the college must change a course from audit to credit by the last date to enter the class.

Students must change a course from credit to audit by the midterm of the semester or session in which they are enrolled.
