Grade Changes and Appeals
Students have the right to appeal a grade as outlined in the KCTCS Code of Student Conduct.
Steps to Appeal a Grade
1. Speak with Your Instructor
- Begin by discussing your concerns directly with your instructor.
- This is the first and most important step in the process.
2. Escalate if Needed
If the issue is not resolved after speaking with your instructor:
3. Continue the Review Process
- If further discussion is required, you may escalate the concern to the Provost.
Important Notes
- Follow the appeal process in order, starting with your instructor.
- If a grade change is approved at any point, the instructor will submit the change on your behalf.
