Tuition and Fees for Dual Credit Courses
Students enrolled in approved dual credit courses through KCTCS receive significant tuition and fee benefits.
Tuition and Fee Waiver
Under Kentucky law, KCTCS institutions:
- Waive 50% of KCTCS tuition for approved dual credit courses
- Waive all KCTCS fees associated with approved dual credit courses
Additional Costs
Students may still be responsible for certain expenses, including:
- Textbooks
- Digital course materials and eBooks
- Other required course supplies or materials
These costs may be covered by the student's high school, depending on local arrangements. Students should check with their high school to determine what expenses, if any, they are responsible for paying.
