Avoiding Delays

To avoid delays in processing your financial aid, make sure the following information matches across all records:

  • Legal name
  • Date of birth
  • Social Security number
  • School code

This information should be consistent on:

  • Your FAFSA
  • Your admissions application
  • Your student account

Transferring Within KCTCS

If you are a current Gateway Community and Technical College student transferring to another Kentucky Community and Technical College System college (or vice versa):

  • Update your home college in your Student Self-Service account

Keeping this information current helps ensure your financial aid and academic records are processed correctly.
