KY FAME Workforce Program
The Kentucky Federation for Advanced Manufacturing Education (KY FAME) is a partnership between regional manufacturers focused on developing a strong pipeline of highly skilled workers. The program follows an apprenticeship-style model that combines education with hands-on work experience.
Program Overview
As a KY FAME participant, you will:
- Attend classes on designated days during the week
- Work on alternate days at a local sponsor’s manufacturing facility
- Earn a competitive wage while gaining real-world experience
This structure allows you to apply what you learn in class directly to a professional environment.
