Grade Changes and Appeals
If you believe your grade should be changed, you have the right to request a review through the process outlined in the Code of Student Conduct.
Steps to Appeal a Grade
1. Start with Your Instructor
- Your first step is to speak directly with your instructor.
- Instructors can submit approved grade changes on your behalf if appropriate.
2. Escalate if Needed
If your concern is not resolved after speaking with your instructor:
- Contact your Department Dean or Division Chair for further assistance.
3. Final Review
- If the issue still requires further review, you may escalate it to the Provost.
Important Notes
- The grade appeal process should be followed in order, starting with the instructor.
- If a grade change is approved at any stage, the instructor will submit the change on your behalf.
