Each KCTCS college has faculty/staff members that can assist students with course enrollment, degree progress, verifying graduation requirements, and answering any program/course questions. Please refer to your college below for instructions for making an advising appointment.
Current Students:
Current students (excluding dual credit students) may locate assigned advisor info in their student portal.
- Login to MyPath
- Select Student Self-Service
- Advising & Classes tile
- Academic Advisor(s) will be available on the left-hand panel.
Dual Credit Students:
Dual credit high school students will not be assigned an advisor until have begun their freshman classes and are no longer dual credit.
If inquiring about dual credit classes, the student or parent will need to speak with either their high school guidance counselor or dual credit coordinator. If the dual credit student or parent would like information about their freshman classes they plan to start after high school graduation, they may reach out to the Advising Office below:
New students must meet with an advisor in the Advising Center to register for their first semester. Contact the Advising Center at WKCTCadvising@kctcs.edu or (270) 534-3349 and leave a message including first name, last name, and call back number, if after business hours.
Current students may contact their assigned advisor; contact information can be found in the WKCTC Directory or in their Student Self-Service.
