BibliU eBooks and Course Materials
Overview
Madisonville Community College has transitioned from Barnes & Noble to BibliU for Bookstore needs and course materials.
Required course materials are available digitally through Blackboard on the official course start date, and the cost of these materials is included with course registration.
Accessing Course Materials
Students can access their required materials directly through their Blackboard courses using the BibliU link.
Course Add or Drop Changes Not Reflected
If you recently added or dropped a course:
- Verify that the registration change appears in MyPath.
- Allow one business day for BibliU access to update.
If access remains incorrect after one business day, contact BibliU Support at support@bibliu.com.
Opting In or Out
Students may choose to:
- Remain enrolled in the digital course materials program.
- Opt out and obtain physical materials through the bookstore.
The opt-out option is available through the student's BibliU account after logging in through Blackboard.
Opted Out but Want to Regain Access
If a student has opted out but would like to regain access to digital course materials, it depends if the opt-out window is still open.
Opt-Out Window Is Still Open
If the purple notification bar is visible in the student's BibliU account:
- Opt back into the program.
- Allow one business day for materials to become available.
If access is not restored after one business day, contact BibliU Support at support@bibliu.com.
Opt-Out Window Has Closed
The student should contact the Records Office to determine whether an exception can be approved.
If approved, the Registrar will notify BibliU Support. Reversing an opt-out may not always be possible.
