Frequently used transfer lingo:
- Concurrent Enrollment: student is enrolled in two post-secondary schools at the same time. This may also be referred to as visiting or transient status.
- Joint/Dual Admissions: student is admitted to both a KCTCS college and a 4-year institution with the understanding the student will complete their associates degree with the KCTCS college and finish their bachelor‘s degree with their 4-year institution.
- Dual Credit High School: students who are still in high school, but taking college courses.
