I received notification that I am a Second Chance student. What does that mean? How can I fix or appeal this?

Body

After a student completes the admissions process and the post-secondary transcript(s) are reviewed, and you have below a 2.0 cumulative GPA you must complete the following steps:

  1. You must write a letter of academic appeal to the Registrar stating the reason(s) that you were not successful and how you plan to make changes.
  2. The student is placed on academic probation 1, they are notified by mail.
  3. The student must have a GPA of 2.0 at the end of that semester to continue. When a student is placed on academic probation for two consecutive semesters and does not earn either a cumulative GPA or a semester GPA of at least 2.0 in the third semester, the student shall be academically suspended.
