How do I apply for graduation and is there a deadline?

Body

All students are required to speak with your academic advisor and apply for credentials they are eligible for by the graduation application deadline, unless told otherwise by your assigned academic advisor.

  • Missing the deadline to apply may cause a delay in being awarded your credential to the next semester.
  • If you have missed the deadline to apply for graduation, please reach out to your assigned academic advisor for instructions.

Notifications sent to students that have applied for graduation:

In April, on behalf of the Provost, all graduates are mailed letters to their home address on file notifying them of their eligibility to graduate.

Students receive a letter informing them if they lack anything or are on track to graduate. The initial audits are completed on a first come first serve basis. BSCTC will inform the students who submit their application early if they lack a class to graduate before bi-term begins. This will give that student the opportunity to pick up a bi-term course to stay on track to graduate in that term. The initial audit is completed by an Admissions staff member and then the Registrar's Office approves the final review.
