Admission While Academically Suspended
Eligibility During an Academic Suspension
Students who are academically suspended from another college or university and are not eligible to return to that institution generally cannot enroll at BCTC during the suspension period.
In most cases, students must sit out for one 16-week semester before becoming eligible to attend BCTC.
Exceptions for University of Kentucky and Eastern Kentucky University Students
BCTC has established agreements with the University of Kentucky (UK) and Eastern Kentucky University (EKU) that allow certain academically suspended students to enroll at BCTC while serving their suspension period.
Students who are currently suspended from UK or EKU due to academic performance may be eligible to attend BCTC under these agreements.
