How do I apply for admission?

As a future KCTCS student, you may complete your college admission application at no charge online. After you submit your application online, you should receive a screen display that provides your Student ID number and Application Reference Number.

Paper Applications are not accepted.

Is there a deadline?

Admission applications are accepted year round at all KCTCS colleges. However, depending on the term you wish to begin, there are set deadlines as follows:

Fall: Incoming Freshmen

• Deadline - July 15
• International Deadline - June 1

Fall: Transfer, Returning, and Non-Degree/Visiting

• Deadline - August 1
• International Deadline - June 1

Fall 12 Week Session

• Deadline - September 1

Spring

• Deadline - December 1
• International Deadline - October 15

Spring 12-Week Session

• Deadline - February 1

Summer I

• Deadline - May 1
• International Deadline - May 1 (Visiting students ONLY)

Summer II

• Deadline - June 1
• International Deadline - June 1 (Visiting students ONLY)

What happens if my file is not complete by the deadline date to apply for admission or register?

Students who apply or submit application documents after the given deadline for the term on their application will still be reviewed. If registration is still available for the term in which you applied, you will be notified.
