What Is a Selective Admission Program?
Selective admission programs have additional admission requirements beyond the general college admission criteria. Students must first be admitted to the college and then apply separately to the selective admission program.
Admission to the college does not guarantee acceptance into a selective admission program.
For more information, visit the Selective Admissions page. Additional details are also available on the Selective Admissions FAQs page.
Students interested in the Nursing program can find program-specific information on the Nursing webpage.
How Can I Check Whether My Selective Admission Packet Has Been Received?
To check the status of your selective admission file, log in to your Selective Admission Account (SAS).

How Will I Know If I Have Been Accepted to a Selective Admission Program?
Selective admission packets typically take up to two weeks to process. Processing times may be longer near application deadlines. Packets are reviewed in the order they are received.
You can monitor your application status by logging in to your SAS account.
Once a program selection decision has been made:
- You will receive an email notification.
- Your acceptance, alternate, or denial status will be available in your SAS account.
- A letter will not be mailed.
For the most current status, check your SAS account regularly.
