To cancel all or a portion of your financial aid award, you may submit a signed written statement or send an email to hazard-financialaid@kctcs.edu from your KCTCS e-mail account indicating specifically what action you would like (reduce, cancel, etc.). Be sure to include the award type (e.g., subsidized loan), the amount, and the term(s) you would like this completed for. You may also visit the office in person to complete a Loan Cancellation Form.
Important Note: The Financial Aid Office cannot complete a Loan Cancellation for an award that has already been disbursed. Only un-disbursed awards can be cancelled.
