To cancel all or a portion of your financial aid award, you may submit a signed written statement or send an email to hp-hccfinancialaid@kctcs.edu from your KCTCS e-mail account indicating specifically what action you would like (reduce, cancel, reinstate, etc.). Be sure to include the award type (e.g., subsidized loan), the amount, and the term(s) you would like this completed for. You may also visit our office in person to complete a Loan Cancellation Form.
Also, include your full name and student ID# to ensure your request will be processed correctly and in a timely manner. Additional identity verification may be required.
