We do not use the graduation date in PeopleSoft. We leave the graduation date blank. The reason being is, if a student does not meet the date, it impact file competition, awards packaging, and disbursement with financial aid.
We only enter the graduation date once the students have applied for graduation with the Records office. If the student is awarded a diploma or degree, they need to reapply if they wish to continue taking classes. If they are denied their credential, the graduation date will be updated once they apply for graduation again in the future.
