I have some industry certifications. Can I get college credit for these?

Body

College Credit for Industry Certifications

Students who have completed and passed an industry-standard certification examination administered by an authorized testing center may be eligible to earn college credit.

Credit may be awarded for certification exams that are determined to be equivalent to course(s) within the student's program of study.

How Credit Is Awarded

  • The certification must be an approved industry-standard credential.
  • The exam must have been administered by an authorized testing center.
  • Any credit awarded must align with the student's academic program and course requirements.
  • Eligibility and the amount of credit awarded are subject to college review and approval.
