To cancel all or a portion of your financial aid award, please notify the Financial Aid Office in writing or via email (octc.financialaid@kctcs.edu). Your request must be sent from your KCTCS email account. You will need to visit the Financial Aid Office to speak with the loan officer to complete a Loan Adjustment Form which authorizes us to change your loan amount.
Once the form has been completed, you will see the canceled portion of your award in Student Self-Serve within 2 business days. Once the loan has cancelled with your lender, you should receive a letter stating this was completed.
