Orientation Information

Is Orientation required?

Students must review the Keys to Success resource webpage before their first advising and class registration session. The Keys to Success web link is included in the student’s acceptance email they receive once they’ve completed the admission requirements. The student should continue to check the email they used on the admission application for additional information.

After registering for classes, all students have an opportunity to attend an in-depth, in-person orientation designed to prepare them for succeeding in their first week and adjusting to college. Orientation activities are designed for students who already have a SKYCTC class schedule. After a student registers for classes, a Career and Academic Planning (CAP) Center advisor will be in touch to help students register.

When and where is Orientation offered?

SKYCTC provides the Keys to Success resource page for all students. Students should review this information before registering for classes.

In-person orientation is offered at various dates and times throughout the year, including weekly before the fall and spring semesters. Please contact the CAP Center for upcoming dates and to register for orientation. Students can reach out to them at 270-901-1046 or SKY-CAP@kctcs.edu.

How do I register for Orientation?
