Work Ready Kentucky Scholarship Program - High School Students

The Work Ready Dual Credit Scholarship helps Kentucky high school students pay for dual credit courses that are part of a Career and Technical Education (CTE) pathway approved by the Kentucky Department of Education.

Scholarship Coverage

• The scholarship is limited to two (2) approved CTE dual credit courses per school year.

How to Apply

• A participating Kentucky high school submits information to KHEAA identifying students enrolled in approved CTE pathway coursework.
• KHEAA then creates a scholarship link in each student’s MyKHEAA account.
• Students must complete the required information using the MyKHEAA link.

Award Process

• Scholarships are awarded on a first-come, first-served basis, based on the date students submit the required information.
• Scholarship status can be viewed in MyKHEAA.
• If awarded, funds are sent to the college and applied directly to the student’s account.
