To cancel all or a portion of your financial aid award, you may submit a signed written statement or send an email from your KCTCS e-mail to the appropriate email address listed below. Be sure to indicate specifically what action you would like (reduce, cancel, etc.). Please ensure you include the award type (e.g., subsidized loan), the amount, and the term(s) you would like this completed for. You may also visit our office in person to complete a Loan Cancellation Form.
Important Note: The Financial Aid Office cannot complete a Loan Cancellation for an award that has already been disbursed. Only awards that have not been disbursed yet may be canceled.
