Work Ready: The Work Ready Kentucky Scholarship will pay your tuition for certificates, diplomas, and Associates in Applied Science in career-related fields: Construction, Education, Healthcare, Manufacturing and Logistics, and Professional, Scientific, and Technical Studies.
View Eligibility Requirements: You must also submit a FAFSA and meet other requirements to receive this scholarship. This award can be offered to you with other grants, loans, and scholarships but cannot exceed your total cost of attendance.
Award Amount
- The amount of WRKS scholarship a student can receive is the amount remaining after subtracting federal and state grants and scholarships from the tuition and fees assessed by the student’s eligible institution.
- The maximum award amount shall not exceed the in-state tuition and fees rate for enrollment at the Kentucky Community and Technical College System.
- The amount awarded for fees shall not exceed $400 per year.
Refund
- The Work Ready Scholarship will never exceed the balance, so the funds will not be refunded.
