Why Do I Have to Take This?
All colleges and universities are required by the federal Violence Against Women Act to offer this type of training to students on an ongoing basis.

- However, it is strongly encouraged
This training helps promote awareness and encourages individuals to recognize their role in preventing gender-based violence both on and off campus.
Is This Required to Graduate?
- No, participation is not required for graduation
- Students will not be penalized for choosing not to participate

- Participation remains optional but encouraged
